Product Information
Per kilo. Class 1. The Bramley is rightly recognised by professional chefs and home cooks alike as the best apple for cooking. Grown only in Britain, the Bramley’s unique qualities make it one of the most versatile ingredients, equally at home in a savoury stir fry or a traditional apple pie. Ours grown locally in Maidstone, Kent, are large, flattish apples, green in appearance but sometimes with specks of red. The flesh is white, juicy and acidic, and when boiled, it turns into a frothy pulp making it what many consider the best cooking apple of all.
